Chappell Roan announced today via social media that she is canceling her upcoming performances at the All Things Go music festivals in NYC and DC. The artist stated, “Things have gotten overwhelming over the past few weeks and I am really feeling it…I need a few days to prioritize my health.”
The “Pink Pony Club” singer was scheduled to perform at All Things Go’s New York City debut at Forest Hills Stadium on Saturday, September 28, and their flagship Washington, D.C. event on Sunday, September 29, alongside fellow artists Reneé Rapp, Janelle Monáe, MUNA, Ethel Cain, Julien Baker, and many more.
In her Instagram stories today, Roan shared the following statement:
“I apologize to people who have been waiting to see me in NYC & DC this weekend at All Things Go, but I am unable to perform. Things have gotten overwhelming over the past few weeks and I am really feeling it. I feel pressures to prioritize a lot of things right now and I need a few days to prioritize my health. I want to be present when I perform and give the best shows possible. Thank you for understanding. Be back soon.”
