UPDATE (Oct. 19, 2024): It’s official! Tyler, The Creator, has announced his new album, CHROMAKOPIA, which will be released on October 28th via Columbia Records. Fans can pre-order a box set edition of the album now.

When Tyler decides to create, you know it’s gonna be something great.

Tyler, The Creator has shared a beautifully cinematic new teaser video for what appears to be a new project titled Chromakopia. The video clip, which looks like a scene straight out of a feature film, opens with Tyler marching through a post-apocalyptic landscape with quite the futuristic and stylish hairdo.

The video clip was shared this morning via Tyler, The Creator’s social media arrived swith a simple caption that read, “1. St. Chroma.” Speculation has been said that Chromakopia is his new album, with “St. Chroma” being the first track on the album.

Channeling some Waiting for Godot aesthetic and The Tragedy of Macbeth themes, the beautifully shot scene set in a monochromatic black-and-white reveals a line of people in black suits without facial details marching directly behind Tyler as he eventually directs them to enter a shipping container with the words CHROMAKOPIA emblazoned across it. It isn’t until the final scene that we get a burst of color.

Can you feel the fire? Watch the video clip below for the grand finale.
