After two incredible Coachella performances, and the radius clause now out of her way, Japanese Breakfast has officially announced her highly awaited Southern California shows in San Diego at Cal Coast Credit Union Theatre at SDSU on Aug. 20 and the Greek Theatre LA on Aug. 22. Fans can get tickets to both shows now through the artist, promoter and venue presales.

With a U.S. and European tour currently underway, Los Angeles fans have been waiting patiently for Michelle Zauner to announce Japanese Breakfast’s LA date. Touring in support of her new album, For Melancholy Brunettes (& sad women), the new tour dates announcement arrived with a video release for “Winter In LA.” The song is featured on their new album.

Tickets to Japanese Breakfast’s 2025 tour will go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 25 at 10AM local time. However, fans can now get presale tickets to her Los Angeles concert at the Greek Theatre using the Goldenvoice presale code YEEHAW, or the Greek Theatre venue presale code GREEK2025.

Fans looking to score presale tickets to Japanese Breakfast’s San Diego show can use the presale code: DANCE.

Japanese Breakfast ticket prices range from $54.25 to $155. Using their Greek Theatre show as an example, the $54.25 ticket price includes the face value price of $39.50 and $14.75 in service fees. Upon checking out, a handling Fee of $4.85 will be added. So that $54.25 ticket price is actually $59.10.

According to AXS, “the ticket face value is set by our clients (venues, promoters, event organizers, etc.). Ticket fees are determined in collaboration with our clients. A portion of these fees collected goes to AXS. The rest, including the entirety of the face value, goes to our clients.“

The Melancholy Tour is Japanese Breakfast’s first tour in three years, following the success of the Jubilee Tour in 2022. The 2025 tour dates include concerts in San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Denver, Atlanta, Brooklyn, and other U.S. and European cities. Ginger Root will join Japanese Breakfast on their U.S. tour dates.
