With a fresh new collaborative album, Before the World Blows, Erykah Badu and The Alchemist will perform at the Hollywood Bowl on Tuesday, Sept. 29. Joining them ahead of their headline performance will be Anderson .Paak (as his DJ Pee .Wee persona), Flea with his solo trumpet music, and visual artist Charles Gaines and his Collective join up with LA jazz group Black Nile and Devin Daniels.
As if having all those heavy-hitting artists–AKA, your favorite musician’s favorite musicians–the Bowl will get the same treatment as visual artist Lauren Halsey’s emajendat London show in 2024. Besides the great music, expect technicolor stages, immersive experiences, and maximalist architecture from Halsey.
