The Ettes are pure all-fem rock n’ roll! From the moment I heard their “Danger Is” EP, I was immediately hooked and had to have every bit of music they ever put out.
These rock-and-roll gypsies are back with “Do You Want Power” (street date September 29 on Take Root), the third LP from the revved up and relentless beat-punk outfit of Coco Hames (vocals, guitar), Jem Cohen (bass) and Poni Silver (drums, fashion). The band, who’ve been tapped for support slots with the Black Keys and Kings of Leon in the past, will be joining Juliette Lewis for a month of North American tour dates.
