After playing a few festivals in 2012 (including Coachella), Mazzy Star have announced a headlining show at the Wiltern on Thursday, Nov. 7! Touring in celebration of their forthcoming album, Seasons of Your Day — out September 24 via their own label, Rhymes of an Hour — the new record is Mazzy Star’s first full-length in 17 years. Mazzy’s prior album, Among My Swan, was released in 1996. Seasons of Your Day was recorded by the original Mazzy Star lineup, co-written and co-produced by Hope Sandoval and David Roback in California and Norway. It features contributions from the late Bert Jansch and My Bloody Valentine’s Colm Ó Cíosóig. You can Listen to new track titled “California” below.
