Wasn’t Spoon’s front-man, Britt Daniel wearing an Imaad Wasif shirt at their secret show Monday night at El Cid? Great musicians know great music. Check it out! Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Imaad Wasif, will take a Thursday night residency at Spaceland LA in the month of February!

Wasif draws inspiration from beyond the veil, seeking connections and cosmic patters in the hopes of expressing the simplest but most profound message to his listeners: We are not alone. The urgency of that communication, and his need to convey it, give both his delicate guitar ballads and his fervent rock songs a ferocity and focus that resonates with every note.

Having gained a reputation for his intense live shows, now those in LA will get a sweet dose of this astounding post-modern psychadelic rock poet. Check out his tour dates below with Dead Meadow and be sure to pick up his album “The Voidist” off Tee Pee Records.
