To suck or not to suck, that is the question. I never liked the fusion between rap and rock, but I do like the coming together of hip-hop and indie rock (trust, there is a difference). According to GQ, Jay-Z and Jack White have collaborated on a record! WTF?

“I just did a record with Jay-Z,” said White. “We did a song together a few weeks ago. It was incredible. I played him something that I’ve been kicking around for a while and he immediately came out with words for it. It’s unbelievable-sounding.”

There’s no news on the release date as of yet but I highly doubt this shit is gonna suck considering it’s coming from two musical masterminds. Besides, Jack White’s supergroup, The Dead Weather is heavy on the rock/hip-hop riffs with “I Cut Like a Buffalo” and “Treat Me Like Your Mother.” The Black Keys have managed to put out a kick-ass album titled “Blakroc,” collaborating with various hip-hop artists.  Let’s see if Jay-z and Jack White can top it …
