As one of my favorite songs by The National, I was pretty stoked to read this morning that they have made a video for “Conversation 16.” A creepy love song where I morbidly find the words, “I was afraid I’d eat your brains,” romantic, the video also features, Mad Men star John Slattery! The video is actually quite funny and of course creepy (especially since it has a political theme), so I find it difficult to watch since I LOVE  this song so much and never thought of it in a satirical style, such as the video provides. The video was directed by Scott Jacobson, a writer for The Daily Show. Check it our below:
