Considering I lived in San Diego for a good 10 years, it’s awesome to see the Del Mar Races going strong with their summer concert series. Each year they exceed my expectations adding the hottest bands to their roster. The Del Mar Races has announced their 2011 Summer Concert Series and it is looking damn good! Check out their incredible line-up below!

8/6: Weezer
8/12: Jimmy Eat World
8/19: Devo
8/26: Airborne Toxic Event
9/4: Ben Harper
All concerts will be held in a new venue, the Seaside Stage. The improved venue offers better sight lines, the Pacific Ocean as a backdrop and better access to concert-goer services and amenities. All ten performances of the Del Mar Summer Concert Series are free for fans attending the races. You can get stretchrun tickets for as low as $8—bet on some ponies, drink some bevies and end your Friday with a kick ass concert!
