Grimy Goods is gearing up to present you with another badass show. On Oct. 27 at the Satellite, we’ll be presenting the Black Ryder with Lower Heaven and Swamplands. We fell in lust with the enticing Australian duo, comprised of Aimee Nash & Scott Von Ryper back in January when the Black Ryder made their Los Angeles debut at the Echo. With alluring textured layers of psychedelic melodies and buzzing guitars, the Black Ryder immediately grabbed our attention with their droned-out rock anthems. Not to mention, they have quite the powerful stage presence.

Supporting the Black Ryder will be Lower Heaven and Swamplands. Lower Heaven are a fairly new L.A. band that fit the theme of this bill perfectly: dark, hypnotzing and just very fuckin’ cool. Their music has been coined as sinister neo-shoe gaze. If you dig My Bloody Valentine, Hawkwind, and the Jesus and Mary Chain—you’re going to take a strong liking to Lower Heaven.

The show is 21-and-over with tickets priced at $10 via TicketFly. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. and the show starts at 9 p.m. We’ll be running a ticket give away next week so be sure to check back at www.GrimyGoods.com or follow us on Twitter of Facebook.
