The EELS, notorious for their ever-changing members are set to perform the Fonda Theatre on February 15. Everett, A.K.A “E” is the permanent member and brings in different collaborators for his musical projects. Each album is a slice of E’s life narrating the emotions and events that occurred, giving his lyrics a touch of sadness with a glimpse of hope. Nonetheless EELS has gained a strong indie following. Their music can be heard in a number of films including Knocked Up, Shrek, Scream 2, and Hot Fuzz. Supporting EELS is American singer-songwriter, Nicole Atkins, whose voice is comparable to Roy Orbison with music heavily influenced by Americana, 60s, and indie rock. .
Tickets to the show are $32, doors open at 8, ad the show is all ages. You can win a pair of tickets with us by following the directions below!
