Talented singer-songwriter of the ’70s, Shuggie Otis, will be performing at the El Rey Theatre on Saturday, April 27. This man’s funky sounds, smooth voice, and good vibes will have you dancing all night long. Part of funk includes a sensual groove and beats, both of which Otis seems to perfect. After almost 40 years, a double CD with a re-release of his 3rd album, Inspiration/Information was unleashed April 20. Look out for new songs he’ll be performing from his 4th album, Wings Of Love, included in the double CD. Supporting Otis will be Jesca Hoop.
