If you think music blogger Twitter-beef is pretty interesting, last night Ryan Adams started a Twitter-battle towards nationally syndicated television host and conservative political commentator, Sean Hannity. Ryan Adams Tweeted to Sean Hannity “Your entire soul is controlled by fear and by hate. Evolve little chicken man. See reality.”
Naturally, Adams deleted his Tweet right after. As the saying goes, “Don’t write a check with your mouth that your ass can’t cash.”
Hannity noted that Adams’ initial tweet was deleted, asking “Why the urge to quickly recall the tweet, sir? Why don’t you have the courage to defend yourself?” He called Adams a “gutless little coward” and challenged him again to make the same charges face-to-face.
You would think being the amazing singer-songwriter that Adams is, with a talent for words — he would stand his ground, accept the challenge and defend what he believes and put Hannity in his place rather than start a Twitter-battle and then delete the evidence. C’mon Ryan! Power to the people! Put that Hannity in his place!
