As if M83 wasn’t already a spectacular performance live, now the famed indie electronic rockers have teamed up with the L.A. Philharmonic Orchestra to deliver a very special evening of music under the stars. M83 is scheduled to perform with the L.A. Philharmonic Orchestra at the Hollywood Bowl on Sunday, September 22. Staying true to both new and old fans — M83 will perform material not only from the critically acclaimed and Grammy Nominated album, Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming, but also a selection of key tracks from M83’s earlier albums. Supporting M83 at the Hollywood Bowl are New York synth pop duo, Phantogram. Lucky for you, we have free tickets to give away to M83 at the Hollywood Bowl courtesy of FILTER and Grimy Goods.

    Hello Grimy Goods!

Can I just say how amazing it would be to swim underneath the stars while listening to the LA Phil and M83. I have always described M83 as music planets make when they are moving about in the cosmos. It would just be such a celestial night if I could go with my special someone and dance with the stars (not making a reference to the trashy ABC reality show I promise)!

    Keep up the great work!

    Love,

    Karen

if I win these tickets I will stop watching Keeping Up With the Kardashians and re-runs of Jersey Shore.

I have wanted to see M83 for so long, but every time they come to town something comes up and I’ve had to sell my tickets or miss the show altogether. I do not want to miss this opportunity! And I would love to see them perform with the LA Philharmonic; I’m sure they’ll bust out somethin crazy from the Oblivion soundtrack!

I was a casual fan of M83 before when I saw them at Coachella a few years ago. Then I heard their work on the movie Oblivion, where they were coupled with an orchestra – it was phenomenal. They’re music was so good it made me like a Tom Cruise movie. TOM-EFFIN-COCKTAIL-CRUISE! That’s a Herculean feat for me to enjoy any movie of his post-Magnolia. This show I feel would be in that same tradition but better because they’re cranking out their own jams backed by oboes, cellos and triangles. I would simply love to see this. Thank you, drive thru.

M83 AND Phantogram!? With the Philharmonic?!? This is one amazing night no one should miss, regardless of your taste in music! Especially at one of the best venues ever, Hollywod Bowl. The date better hurry up, because we’re dreaming. 🙂

Would LOVE to have this be my first Bowl show this summer! Perfect summer night dance music. Need to have a grown up night out with my husband!!

I’m still kicking myself for not seeing M83 at the Disney Concert Hall with the LA Phil. This would totally make up for it! This would also be my chance to confess my love for Sarah of Phantogram.
