The Yeah Yeah Yeah’s, Karen O has announced a small string of intimate dates for her first solo tour. And guess what Los Angeles!? Karen O has booked three performances at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery. You can catch her live on Sept. 17, 18, and/or 19. Last month, Karen O shared the video for her new song “Rapt”, which comes off her forthcoming full-length solo debut, Crush Songs. As Karen O shared on her Facebook page, “If you’re in the mood for love please come join my crush odyssey at these limited engagements.”
Additionally, Karen O has a set of listening parties for the vinyl pressing of Crush Songs. Taking place Aug. 27 around the globe, Karen O promises to show up at one of them: “…you better believe I’ll be showing up to one of them! Grab your honey and drag ’em to have a listen …” You can sign up for a listening party in your city (or near) via Karen O’s website.
Crush Songs is scheduled for release on Sept. 9 via the Strokes’ Julian Casablancas’ label, Cult.
Tickets to Karen O at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery are priced at $35 and the shows are all-ages. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, Aug 15 at 12 p.m.
