The Afghan Whigs

After a 13 year hiatus starting in 2001, the Cincinnati alt-rock band Afghan Whigs have reunited! We caught the band live at Coachella this past April and it was a most memorable performance. Formed in 1986 by Greg Dulli (vocals), Rick McCollum (guitar), John Curley (bass), and Steve Earle (drums), the band came together on a basis for their love for R&B. 2011 marked the year when the band officially reunited, appearing at several festivals like Primavera Festival, Lollapalooza, and most recently, Coachella. Afghan Whigs are currently touring with the release of their new album, Do the Beast, which they’ll be premiering at the Fonda Theatre on Saturday, October 25th! Supporting acts include the Ohio singer-songwriter, Joseph Arthur and the L.A. homage band, Lou Man Group.

Tickets are priced starting at $35, doors open at 8:00 pm, and the event is all ages. You can purchase tickets or try and win a pair of tickets with us by entering the contest below!
