Blood Brothers incite a crowd-surfing frenzy at the Observatory Santa Ana

It was just a few months ago that the Blood Brothers put on a ferocious reunion show at FYF Fest. The iconic post hardcore quintet followed up their FYF date last night with a manic show at the Observatory in Santa Ana. Naturally, fans went mad as this was the band’s first reunion show in Southern California other than their monstrous FYF performance. Longtime fans and newbies packed the Observatory to chant along with their fists (and legs) in the air, devouring any chance they got to surf the crowd. We even saw a small child in the front lines who was about seven years old. According to the those next to him, the kid definitely had a frightened look on his face. Hope the little guy got out of the pit chaos okay (not the brightest idea, parents).

Regardless of the seven-year-old newbies in the Blood Brothers pit, the show was a whirlwind set of fierce energy and nostalgia. Fans were reliving their emo / scene kids days as they sang along to their favorite Blood Brothers songs remembering their angsty youths.

Wild times indeed. Check out the photos below of Blood Brothers at the Observatory with opening act, Dunes!
