ABOUT THE YAAAASS! BENEFIT:

Warpaint heard that a local high school classroom music program in Los Angeles was no longer functioning due to budget cuts and decided to take matters into their own hands.

As the band’s Theresa Wayman notes, “Warpaint is excited to become more involved with our community. The world is a big place, with many people and the best way to participate and uplift the standard of living for us all is to start with those around us. Thank you to all of those participating in this fun night of music and art! May we dance, drink, eat and be merry…and raise some $money$!!!”

Youth In Rock was created by Bretton Boyd, a teacher at John Marshall High School.
