From their early days debuting their music at small LA venues such as The Echo and Silverlake Lounge, Tame Impala have grown into an unstoppable psychedelic force to be reckoned with. The Australian psych rockers just performed two sensational festival sets at both Shaky Knees Fest and Austin Psych Fest this past weekend (we covered both), and now the Kevin Parker-led band have announced two Los Angeles dates at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery on August 6 & 7. If you’ve ever seen Tame Impala perform live, you already know that the famed outdoor venue is going to create the perfect ambiance a Tame Impala performance.
Most recently, Tame Impala released “Eventually” the latest of four songs shared from their highly anticipated album, Currents. The new song is heavy on the electro r&B, while still staying true to Tame Impala’s transcending psychedelic tones. You can stream it below. Currents is set for a worldwide release on July 17. You can preorder it here.
Tickets to Tame Impala at Hollywood Forever Cemetery are priced at $39.50 and the show is all-ages. Tickets go on sale this Friday, May 15 at 12pm.
