Did you miss Deerhunter at FYF this past weekend? Don’t worry, so did everyone else. As we all know, Deerhunter did not end up performing at FYF this year; however, not only have they booked a Los Angeles date, but they also have a slew of tour dates and a new album underway!
Deerhunter is scheduled to headline The Regent in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday, October 17. Supporting Deerhunter at The Regent will be Atlas Sound.
In addition to the band’s Los Angeles date, Deerhunter is set to embark on an extensive U.S. tour (and Europe) that will kick off at the aforementioned Los Angeles date and conclude on January 9 in Athens, GA.
Deerhunter is touring in support of their seventh studio album, Fading Frontier. The group’s last full-length release was in 2013 when they revealed Monomania. Written in their hometown of Atlanta, GA, and with production duties shared by the band and Ben H. Allen III, Fading Frontier continues a collaboration that began with 2010’s Halcyon Digest. Deer hunter’s new album, Fading Frontier is set for release October 16 via 4AD. You can preorder the album here.
Tickets to Deerhunter at The Regent are priced at $25. Tickets will go on sale Friday, August 28 at 12pm.
