Red Bull Sound Select’s #30DaysInLA is building through the month of November and bringing all kinds of brilliance to the most interesting spots. This past Friday, Mack Sennett Studios hosted a nice blend for a cool Saturday night getting lit with postmodern warehouse theatre vibes.
We made it right on time for the Canadian electro-funk duo, Chromeo. Their fuzzy synths mixed with upbeat drum patterns provided a make-out music vibe of its own. Their performance had a cheeky sexy edge mixed with a smooth and borderline style. Bouncing between live drum beats and electronic guitars, Chromeo blurred the lines between DJ and band. It was an overall excellent performance that will definitely stand out as one of the best #30DaysInLA shows.
