This past October, the Hollywood Roosevelt hotel introduced its latest space, The Garden. Lauded as one of the best new bars in Los Angeles, the popular entertainment industry hangout has also begun hosting intimate shows. On Wednesday, December 9, The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel will host a special acoustic performance with Matt Costa at its cozy new space, The Garden. The show is free with RSVP.
If you’ve never caught the charming singer-songwriter (and past pro skateboarder prospect) live, you should definitely catch him at The Garden. Matt Costa always puts on a whimsical show that jumps from feel-good sounds as heard in “Mr. Pitiful” to hazy yesteryear vibes found in the 60s nostalgia “Witchcraft”. No matter what the Costa flavor, the endearing musician always delivers a good time.
Matt Costa just released his Neon Brain EP. You can pick it up with a limited edition signed print of the cover art here.
Tucked away in an oasis of palm trees by the Tropicana Pool, The Garden celebrates traditional beer gardens, but with a Mexican twist. Made possible by Montejo, the bar features an eclectic menu of beer offerings including Spaten Oktoberfest, 10 Barrell Apocalypse and Elysian Night Owl alongside a full menu of tacos. In addition to a wide selection of beer on tap, The Garden offers a simple menu including Mexican corn, churros and a selection of tacos. Guests can soak up the atmosphere and play games at the bar including life-sized Jenga, ping-pong and beer pong.
