After watching that extraordinary GRAMMY performance, y’all were probably wondering the same thing: how on earth is Beyoncé gonna perform at Coachella when she’s about to pop, not just one, but two babies. Well, like many of us predicted, Beyoncé pulled out of Coachella 2017. But there is an upside… you just gotta wait until 2018.
Below is the statement from Coachella:
[perfectpullquote align=”full” cite=”” link=”” color=”#FF78FF” class=”fistclass” size=”15″]Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyoncé has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding.
Stay tuned for more information. [/perfectpullquote]
So who’s gonna replace Beyonce at Coachella? Daft Punk? Adele? Rihanna? Rage Against The Machine? Frank Ocean? Lady Gaga?
A new headliner has yet to be announced…
Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar are still slated to headline Coachella. Also on this year’s Coachella lineup are Lorde, Travis Scott, Justice, New Order, Crystal Castles, DJ Shadow, King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard, Bon Iver, S U R V I V E, Bishop Briggs, Kaytranda, SOFI TUKKER… and that’ just naming just a few of our favorites.
Coachella 2017 will take place across two weekends: April 14-16 and April 21-23. Festival passes for both weekends are SOLD OUT! But with Bey out of the picture, we’re pretty sure a lot more will be up for grabs on Craigslist.
