The iconic French duo, Air, have announced their first U.S. tour in seven years. Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel will be brining their signature downtempo electronic tunes to seven U.S. locations as part of Air’s TwentyYears Air Tour. As part of their tour, Air will headline the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 25th. Other U.S. dates include New York City, Chicago, Santa Barbara and more. Air’s TwentyYears Tour celebrates the band’s 20-year milestone. In honor of it, Air released their first anthology; a 2CD, 2LP and digital editions + super deluxe versions of “twentyears” last July. In addition to a first CD has 17 classic tracks, the “twentyears” release includes two more CDs filled of rare and unreleased tracks, plus remixes Air did for other artists and themselves.
Tickets to Air at the Greek Theatre go on sale this Friday, April 7 at 10 a.m. Air at the Greek Theatre is presented by Nederlander, doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show kicks off at 8 p.m. Tickets are priced at $45 – $55 + service fees.
