Los Angeles’ dynamic duo, KOLARS is taking over The Echo this Friday, September 8 (that’s tomorrow!) for a show you won’t want to miss. Made up of the badass husband and wife duo Rob Kolar (guitar) and Lauren Brown (drums), the two roll out a fierce combo of energy and chemistry that makes their live show quite the unique experience. And we can’t deny how enthralling it is to see Lauren jump, tap and dance across the stage and even atop her drum kit:
“Brown brings some dope originality to the drums. She set up two floor toms, a snare, a single symbol, and she stood on a bass drum and wore tap shoes. Yes, she taps while drumming. She is creating beats from every limb!” (READ MORE HERE)
Opening up for KOLARS at The Echo are Livingmore and Moded. Tickets to the show are priced at $9.50 Advance / $12 Day of Show, and the show is18 and over.
KOLARS have just released their self-titled debut album and it’s a 2017 favorite. Both upbeat, and soft and sultry when it needs to be, KOLARS’ debut features 16 tracks, eight of which are instrumentals.
The album is available for purchase via iTunes and streaming with Baeble Music and Spotify. You can also get a sweet dose of it below.
