In support of hurricane relief for Puerto Rico, Los Angeles indie darlings, Silversun Pickups have announced a benefit show at the Theater at Ace Hotel for November 25. Performing with them are Minus The Bear. Always coming through with a big heart, Silversun Pickups are no strangers to hosting benefit shows.

“What’s happening in Puerto Rico is devastating. Our hearts go out to everyone who has been affected by this, and we all should be helping. We will do whatever we can to help.”

Said lead singer Brian Aubert about the band’s benefit show.

All money raised at the show will be donated to “Unidos,” a hurricane relief fund for Hurricane Maria victims in Puerto Rico managed by the Hispanic Federation, a leading Latino nonprofit organization with more than 25 years of experience in providing disaster-relief assistance to Latinos in the United States and Latin America.

Tickets for The Silversun Pickups benefit show for Puerto Rico are priced via three different tiers:

  • $150, which includes a meet and greet and a seat within the first 10 rows
  • $100, for a seat within the first 10 rows or lower balcony
  • $35 for the rest of the venue

Tickets will will go sale via AMEX pre-sale on Wednesday Oct 18th, and general public on-sale on Friday Oct 20th.

Ahead of their 18-date headlining North American tour, Silversun Pickups released their Better Nature (Revisited) EP. The new record features six songs, three remixes by MNDR, JR JR, and Joywave, and three acoustic versions.
