On December 11th, Los Angelenos have the pleasure of hearing the latest from Americana-inspired singer-songwriter Tor Miller, who will be joined by Dresage and Graham Norwood, at the Moroccan Lounge. With his latest release Surviving the Suburbs, Miller has left his seaside hometown and journeyed through the energetic cities of the U.S. as he continues on the last leg of his U.S. tour.
When listening to the New Jersey grown musician, listeners can catch themes of despondency, appreciation of roots, and struggles to find inspiration as the album searches for meaning within a life that did not materialize as planned. With all of these themes combined, Tor Miller incorporates the raw organics of recording and songwriting–with uninhibited vocals and instruments without electronic influence.
If you find yourself seeking very personal inspiration, this show is not one to be missed.
Tickets to Tor Miller at the Moroccan Lounger are available for $15-17. The show is 18 and over with doors at 7:30pm. Tickets on sale now.
