Almost a year after their cantankerous album Brain Telephone, L.A. based Frankie and the Witch Fingers are back with their newest single and video “Pleasure.” The single will be released as a 7” with an epic demo of their track “Realization” on the B-side. Purchase the 7” Green Way Records. The trippy lo-fi visuals for the video were all crafted by the seriously talented Sztuka Naiwna.

With groovy funk-inspired chord progressions and psychedelic delay, the song pairs its influence in an unexpected way. “Pleasure” oozes in-and-out of convention and penetrates listener expectations of what one might expect of a drippy psych-rock track. With little glints of krautrock and funk, “Pleasure” is a genre-hybrid that leaks vivacity; full of buttery and reverb-y riffs, fuzzy rhythm guitar, and roaring vocals — the song bleeds into itself in a way that allows each melody to perfectly mush together in a tasty, rollicking soup.
