Escort, the nu-disco band from Brooklyn New York is headed to the city of angels, bringing with them a body-delicious mix of dance music. Escort will perform at the Echo in Los Angeles on Friday, April 26.
Last year the band released two singles, both showcasing the best elements of the band. “Slide,” released in mid 2018, is a modern and sleek interpretation of 80s funk and disco, while “Josephine,” released last November, runs true to the band’s core. The latter single oozes a disco euphoria with a highly danceable rhythm. It maintains a coolness though, as the song exudes an undeniable sexual prowess.

For the past 7 years, band members Dan Valid, Eugene Cho, Darius Maghen and Adeline Michéle have been bringing fans a fantastic collection of modern and live dance music inspired and infused with a classic disco twist. Escort’s propensity to create music that feels both nostalgic and new is evident in their musical works, a discography that can be described as a whirlwind of controlled and all too fun chaos.
Escort will be performing on April 26, at the Echo in Echo Park, Los Angeles. With its understated, yet artistic vibe, the Echo will be a suitable venue for the colorful band. Tickets to Escort at The Echo are priced at $15 Advance / $18 Day of Show. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10am.
