Held at a secret location in Los Angeles, and featuring LA’s very own Flying Lotus as the headline act, cannabis flower brand Glass House Farms held quite the 420 event. The concert was one of the first “post-pandemic” concerts to take place in Los Angeles and also included a live stream from those rollin’ at home. With invites to the show short and few, the socially-distanced event also included dope sets from Duckwrth, Blackillac and comedian Mike E Winfield, known for his work in NBC’s The Office. COVID protocols and precautions were strictly enforced. No mask, no music.
In addition to hosting the mini-festival, Glass House Farms launched its Virtual Farm Experience the same day, which gave cannabis fans an inside look into the brand’s glasshouse to give a closer look at three of their most beloved strains and ends with an immersive audiovisual environment.
Flying Lotus just dropped a fresh double singe “Black Gold” ft. Thundercat and “Between Memories” ft. Niiki Randa, from the upcoming Netflix anime series, Yasuke, out 4/29. Stream the tracks here.
