Indie outfit Chicano Batman can be recognized for their quirky offerings such as “Friendship (Is A Small Boat In The Storm)” and “Black Lipstick”.  Now the Los Angeles group’s frontman is embarking on a sole debut with that same bold, originality. BARDO’s vibrant new single “Patterns Of Being” is a song seeped in self-acceptance and gratitude. With shiny, eccentric soundscapes and laid-back vocals, the tune is a breezy, calming listen. The video also portrays a relaxing vibe. The fuzzy visuals showcase BARDO in front of patterned and palm tree backdrops. The piece has a lush, psychedelic feel, entrancing all who watch. Ending by holding bright yellow flowers and pushing them closer towards us, it is a viewing experience to remember.

BARDO is set to drop his debut solo album Everywhere Reminds Me Of Space through his own label Yemayá Sol Records on July 23. This 11-track collection is a colorful rhythmic-driven release. BARDO reveals, “With this record I wanted to showcase the beats and spoken word cinematic vision quests along with some tunes I had stashed away in the vault. A little casio keyboard, a maestro echoplex, and my monophonic synths were tracked all over the record in order to keep it together. Many artists delve into the ether with existential quandaries about life, love, and nature; I am no exception.”
