Tyler, The Creator throws a proper secret show at The Roxy

Tyler, The Creator lit up the Roxy Last night (Wednesday, June 29), with a jam-packed secret show. And when we say “secret show” — we mean, a proper secret show! Nobody knew about this one. For many thrilled attendees, this was their first concert in over a year. What a way to break back into concert life! Oddly enough, the last time Tyler, The Creator played The Roxy (2011 OFWGKTA), he was arrested for trashing The Roxy’s sound equipment. Looks like they made amens.

So here’s how it went down. A few day ago, Tyler, The Creator sent out a link asking fans to sign up with their email and phone number. Those that did, were in for the treat of their life. Selected fans received a random text message alerting them to show up at the El Rey to receive their wristbands for a secret show with Tyler, The Creator. Photo i.d. and proof of vaccination was required. From there, the lucky wrist-banded attendees had to wait for location details. The secret show was soon to pop off at the The Roxy in Hollywood.
