Pairing fresh beats and rich, textured production — producer, artist and labelhead TOKiMONSTA mixes up a banging new single “Naked” featuring Compton rapper and singer Channel Tres. In the new tune, Tres spits slick verbiage across funky, full sounds carefully mixed by TOKiMONSTA to create a sexy, stylized mood bursting with bouncy, fun vibes. The mix of genres and groovy backbeat drive the song, and your feet, to move effortlessly and Tres’s charismatic performance adds attitude and suave to the already hypnotic single.
With a collage inspired music video that incorporates wild imagery, plenty of popping colors and a kaleidoscope background, the song is a mood board for summer and youthful exuberance.
”Naked” follows TOKiMONSTA’s last release, “Say Yes,” a collaboration with emerging R&B artist VanJess. Honing her skills as a producer/DJ who pushes the boundaries of her creative space, she is primed for more collaborations with a variety of artists as she expands her sound. TOKiMONSTA also released her own NFTon SuperRare with digital artist FVCKRENDER at the beginning of the year and in March, hosted a livestream event in honor of National Women’s Month.
TOKiMONSTA is slated to perform this fall, embarking on her “Say Yes” tour featuring special guests Rochelle Jordan, Rush Davis & Kingdom, and Biicla with a Los Angeles date Oct. 9 at The Novo.
