Singer/songwriter Fana Hues has unveiled a new song with the release of “Breakfast,” a soaring new track that she debuted via a COLORS show on YouTube. On the touching ballad, Hues’ characteristically vibrant vocalizations take center stage against a backdrop of glowing guitar plucks and the snap of drums as she dwells on immense love and sorrow. Lush, heartbreaking, and not without invigorating passion, “Breakfast” envelops fans in the warm embrace of Hues’ dulcet cries. Performing the single for COLORSxSTUDIOS, a music platform designed to showcase talent from around the world, the Pasadena artist puts her full vocal prowess on display in the video as she belts out the song’s powerful lines.

Following the release of her debut album Hues in 2020, Hues has been on a roll releasing singles like euphonious “Pieces” and appearing on Tyler, The Creator‘s song “SWEET / I THOUGHT YOU WANTED TO DANCE” from his Grammy-nominated album CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST. And with more music on the horizon Hues doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon — a vigor inspired by her musically passionate family and a childhood illness that left her unable to sing for five years.
