Livingmore give a rocking ode to that one friend we can always "Kick It" with

Los Angeles four-piece Livingmore have shared the latest in a slew of singles for their upcoming third album with “Kick It.” The new track from Look is a spacey rollicker, one that blisters gleefully with the band’s signature riffs and sublimely droning melody. And it’s carried by the gleaming vocals and guitar work of Alex Moore and Spencer Livingston, alongside Mike Schadel on drums/keys and Rodrigo Moreno on bass. Making “Kick It” a euphoric jammer that’s made all the more potent by the heady melancholy it’s saturated in — the kind of track you play as an ode to that reliable friend you could always rely on to kick it with.

“Kick It” follows the release of the dreamy confessional “Never a Rockstar” and the jaunty rocker “Turn Away.” Every new single is pointing to Look being another tour-de-force from the rising L.A. outfit. They’re still riding the tidal waves made by their sophomore album Take Me which came just last year, a monumental heft of delirious celebration gilded by its opening track “Sharp.”

“After Spencer and I recorded Take Me with the whole band in 2021 we still had a lot of creativity left over and decided to make a duo album in our home studio set up and this is the product of that.  We had it mixed and mastered by Josiah Mazzaschi who previously worked on Take Me with us and are planning to release the whole album this year.
