UPSAHL announces headline tour dates with a Los Angeles concert date at The Roxy on Oct. 22. Additional Southern California tour dates include the Constellation Room in Santa Ana (Sep. 29), House of Blues in San Diego (Sep. 30), and more. In celebration of first-ever North American Headline Tour in this fall, UPSAHL has shared her new single titledMonica Lewinsky — a catchy electro-pop banger that begs for a sing-along. The new single arrives with a new music video. Watch it below.

UPSAHL gave a preview of her latest single, she says “On first listen, Monica Lewinsky feels like a playful song about people who have made a massive impact on pop culture, and it is that type of song, but writing this song was much more than that for me. In the ’90s and the early 2000s, women like Monica, Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, and Miley Cyrus were all dragged down by the media under a microscopic spotlight and the court of public opinion simply for living their lives. One of the main reasons I get to feel free to exist in a creative industry is because of the bullsh*t that they had to deal with early on in their careers. ‘Monica Lewinsky’ is my ode to them. Thank you for making history.”

Directed by George Gallardo Kattah, UPSAHL navigates the pitfalls of rising stardom in the “Monica Lewinsky” music video. Her billboard advertisements and bold red carpet attire show that she’s not afraid of the spotlight. This video is a powerful statement that UPSAHL is unapolegtically herself in the face of a long history of female artists being misrepresented in the media. Watch UPSAHL’s empowering new “Monica Lewinsky” music video below.

On CBS’s The Late Late Show with James Corden, UPSAHL made her late-night television debut  performing “IDFWFEELINGS,” as well as performing “Lunatic” on TBS’s Full Frontal With Samantha Bee.
