Leimert Park Juneteenth Festival
The annual, free Juneteenth celebration will honor the South Los Angeles Black community once again on Saturday, June 18th in Leimert Park Village during Juneteenth Weekend. This year’s South LA tradition, organized by Still Rising Corp. and Rotation by Amazon Music, will unite the community with a thoughtfully curated lineup of art, music, food, and educational activities dedicated to celebrating the history and culture of the African-American community. The event takes place from 12pm to 9pm. And it’s FREE!

JUNETEENTH: A Global Celebration of Freedom at the Hollywood Bowl
The Hollywood Bowl‘s Juneteenth celebration of Black freedom and excellence will feature an all-star cast of musicians and celebrities on June 19 starting from 4:30pm until 8pm. The event will feature the first-ever all-Black symphony orchestra at the Hollywood Bowl: Thomas Wilkins and Derrick Hodge lead Re-Collective Orchestra. Adam Blackstone and Questlove are in charge of the show’s music, so you know it’s gonna be lit! You don’t want to miss this unique musical Juneteenth celebration. Tickets are available from $30 to $99.
Live performances and appearances: Khalid, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Roots, Lucky Daye, Jhené Aiko, Robert Glasper, Killer Mike, Billy Porter, Mary Mary, Anthony Hamilton, Michelle Williams, Mickey Guyton, the Debbie Allen Dance Academy, and many more will perform.

Black On The Block at Wisdome.LA
The Black on the Block Juneteenth Festival will be at Wisdome.LA on June 19 and kicking off at 1pm. Over 200 Black-owned businesses will participate in this carnival-themed festival, which will feature live music, discussions on various topics and panels, a Ferris wheel, and carnival-themed games and activations, as well as music and drinks.
Located in the heart of Los Angeles’s Arts District, Wisdome.LA is an immersive art and music dome park. You’ll be able to find a variety of vendors both inside the domes and on the streets, as well as food and drink stand, DJs spinning tunes and lighting up the night, as well as photo booths and other photo props.
Family and pets are welcome at Black on the Block. If you’re bringing children, please be aware that the market sells alcohol and plays music. Tickets cost $10 and are available in person or online. Free admission for children 12 and under.

Santa Monica Juneteenth Celebration
Santa Monica’s 30th Annual Juneteenth Celebration will be held at Virginia Avenue Park in Santa Monica on Saturday, June 18 from 1pm to 7 pm. The event will be emceed by KJLH’s “Bobo” Arnell, and Chazz Ross will kick things off with a drum call. In addition to live music, the celebration will feature over a dozen vendors selling a wide variety of cultural arts, jewelry, clothing, and more. There will also be racial justice presentations, spoken-word, arts & crafts for kids, tasty food vendors and more!
This event is completely FREE.

Real Black Greatness Juneteenth Day Party at The Beehive
The real Black Greatness Juneteenth Day Party will be held on June 19 from 3pm to 9pm at The Beehive, Los Angeles. Brought to you by House Party Creative and RnB HouseParty, this is a FREE 21 and up event, so be ready to party! RSVP for FREE tickets or do-good and donate $10 to support Home Boy Industries. Your donations also grants you priority entry and access to Tito’s complimentary cocktail while supplies last.
Foodies can grab bites from some of the best food trucks including NY Chopped Cheese, Soul Food Gyros, abeautifullife Jamaican, The Flavor of Creole, and I Love Funnel Cakes. Libations will be created by Lady On The Rocks.
Sofar Sounds is presenting a three-artist show in addition to the day party.
Live DJ Set: TJ Banks, DJ Meel, DJ NP3, DJ Printz, and Abby De La Rosa will curate the atmosphere.
