The third annual Summer SoundWaves outdoor concert series at The Music Center returns with an exciting lineup of global music artists. With genres ranging from Tropical Latin and Afro-Mexican rhythms to West African beats and Jazz Fusion, get ready to dance under the downtown L.A. skyline.
For six Saturday nights, music lovers of all ages can enjoy outdoor concerts in the heart of Los Angeles for only $20 per ticket. Plus, kids under 12 can enjoy the event for free! Check out the lineup below!

The Music Center’s Summer SoundWaves will begin on June 24. The first performance will feature Grammy® winners Luciana Souza & Trio Corrente. Then, on July 1, Los Angeles’ hometown heroes, Las Cafeteras are set to take the stage, followed by Malian singer Oumou Sangaré on July 22 and Afro-Pop/Jazz/Soul band Olatuja on July 29.

On August 5, Jazz Unleashed L.A. will be headlined by Chief Adjuah, formerly known as Christian Scott, a recipient of multiple prestigious awards. The evening will also feature a collective of Los Angeles-based jazz musicians curated by music director Luca Mendoza, a 2016 Grand Prize Finalist of The Music Center’s Spotlight program in the Jazz Instrumental category. The series will come to a close on August 9 with a performance by Grammy®-winning Cuban music artist Eliades Ochoa. Don’t miss out on this impressive series!
