Luna Luna is back with a euphoric new single “Solo Tú” that leans into the band’s talent for creating bilingual bops. The Texas synth-pop outfit will also be heading out on a headlining tour this fall with stops at The Regent Theater in Los Angeles on October 8th and the Constellation Room in Santa Ana on October 11th. After the release of their third record Flower Moon back in 2021 the band has been steadily sharing new singles like the groovy and shimmering “Talk Too Much” and “Dance With U.”

With “Solo Tú,” Luna Luna embraces a long-held desire to include more Spanish lyricism into their music. The result is a dizzyingly hypnotic track consumed by both romantic longing and anxious passion — spiraling with the familiar elation that often fills their music. Its ebullient melody stays afloat via a tangle of buoyantly pulsating percussion and scintillating riffs.

As the title suggests, “Solo Tú” is devoted to that special kind of tunnel vision that settles in when you find yourself bewitched by a particularly ardent infatuation. “Me tienes embobado y te conviene,” they coo blissfully. “Caigo en tu cama cada viernes.”

The new single is also accompanied by a surreal music video directed by Ash Rosas. In it, the band performs the song in matching grey suits wearing white sheets over their heads, creating a ghostly but also enthralling mystique and atmosphere. One that’s only amplified by the muted blues, greens, and rosy pink light that they’re illuminated by. Everything about it mirrors the euphoria that bursts from the track and spotlights it as the ideal soundtrack to a summer dancefloor romance.
