Los Angeles-based outfit supergloom has launched their latest single “Cycles,” offering another delirium-soaked submersion into their psyched-out sonic palette. They will also be playing The Echo in Los Angeles on August 27th. With “Cycles” the quintet dive gleefully into bolder and at times psychedelic territories. From behind an increasingly hazy atmosphere comes their somehow dually forboding and stirring transmissions, beamed as they are over a web of radiant riffs and gossamer vocals. Pouring out its fuzzily-soaked guitars and clamor of thunderstruck percussion into a grand finale of hurricaning fervor.

An amalgamation of musicians and friends, the band is comprised of Shane Graham of Dream Phases, Bertrand Vellky from The Crazy Brave, as well as both Peter Doherty and Ethan Walden of Mars and the Massacre, with Drew Aron.

Their self-titled debut EP supergloom is an absolute must-listen. While recent singles “Stairdown” and “Silhouette” reveal just how much wonder the band still has yet to enthrall us with.
