Queens of the Stone Age have added new tour dates for their The End is Nero tour. The band will now perform a Los Angeles show date at the KIA Forum on Dec. 16, 2023. Additional new tour stops include shows in San Diego at Viejas Arena, Phoenix at Arizona Financial Theatre, Austin at the Moody Center ATX, and more tour dates.

Spiritualized will be opening this run of December Queens of the Stone Age tour dates in North America. Led by J Spaceman, Spiritualized are supporting their ninth album, Everything Was Beautiful. 

Tickets to Queens of the Stone Age’s new tour dates go on sale to the general public on Friday, Sept. 22 at 10am local time. However, fans can get tickets as early as Wednesday, Sept. 20, through a few different Queens of the Stone Age presale opportunities. Get the presale code below!

In a wild year, Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme has dealt with cancer treatment, along with an ongoing custody battle of his children with ex-wife Brody Dalle.

According to the Guardian, the long and bitter saga with Dalle has seen both parties file restraining orders against the other, and accuse the other of physical assault. Dalle has accused Homme of head-butting her, and telling her that he fantasized about killing her; Homme has said Dalle had punched him in the face on numerous occasions, among other attacks.

Artist Presale

A Queens of the Stone Age presale will kick off Wednesday, Sept. 20 at 10am local time through Thursday, Sept. 21 at 10pm. To access the artist presale, first select your preferred tour date. Next, you will need to add the artist presale code you will receive once you sign up for their email newsletter.

A Citi card presale will begin Wednesday, Sept. 20 at 10am local time through Thursday, Sept. 21 at 10pm. If you have a Citi card, you can take part in this presale now! Select your tour date, and use the first 6 digits of your Citi® credit card or Citibank® Debit Card as the presale code.

Live Nation Presale

A Live Nation promoter presale will start on Thursday, Sept. 21 at 10am local time through Thursday, Sept. 22 at 10pm. To get these presale tickets, you’ll need first to select your desired tour date. Next, input the following presale code: STUDIO.

KIA Forum Presale

What Are Official Platinum Tickets?

If you see expensive tickets that are not VIP packages, those are official platinum tickets. These tickets are offered well over standard ticket prices, which is unfair to fans. The Event Organizer(s) have priced these tickets according to their market value (aka dynamic pricing). In other words, ticket pricing can go up or down and usually goes up.

Official platinum tickets do not include VIP packages. The only positive thing about them is that they make buying floor or front-row tickets to a high-demand concert easy if you’re willing to shed the extra cash. They can sometimes be purchased during a presale without a presale code. Availability and pricing for official platinum tickets are subject to change based on demand.

Pro Tips When Buying Your Tickets

First, on the day of the presale or general onsale (whichever you prefer), login to your Ticketmaster account (go to my account or sign in located on the upper right corner of the page) 30 minutes ahead of the sale time. If you don’t have one, create one now.

Be sure to add your billing info (aka credit card info) before jumping into the digital queue for a quick check-out. Once the presale starts, remain in the digital queue. Only use one browser window because using multiple browsers or devices and multiple accounts with the same phone number can result in errors. Trust, it’s happened to us before! Don’t refresh your page, do be patient, don’t leave your page, do get those tickets!

What To Do If Tickets Are Sold Out?

If tickets sell out, your other option is to buy them via online resellers like VividSeats or StubHub. When all else fails, we prefer these resell options because both offer a 100% Guarantee. You can also purchase resale tickets through Ticketmaster’s resale program. Just search for the concert or event you want to attend, and see if any resale tickets are available. We recommend comparing the three options to determine which one works best for you.

Also, more standard tickets are often released in the weeks leading up to the show date. We’ve seen it with Oasis, Nine Inch Nails, BLACKPINK, and many more. These tickets are normally production release tickets and sideview/limited-view tickets. It’s a secret gatekept by many, but if you’re reading this, now you know.
