Shawn Mendes is joining The Ford’s 2024 season for a fall performance of his forthcoming album Shawn. The Los Angeles concert takes place on Tuesday, October 22nd, and will be one of three special shows—Brooklyn Paramount in Brooklyn and Paramount Theatre in Seattle—that will give fans the chance to hear the record live in full for the very first time.
Fans will need to sign up before Sunday, August 4th at 11:59pm local time for the chance to see Shawn Mendes. With the announcement that his fifth studio album, Shawn, arrives on October 18th via Island Records, the Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter has revealed plans to ensure that fans get to hear it live almost immediately after its release. For an artist who so often appears in arena-sized venues the intimate spaces of the trio of theaters he’ll be playing at will give those in attendance an unprecedented experience. Given the intensely personal nature of his songwriting and this album, in particular, his second self-titled, you’re not going to want to miss these shows.
Mendes shared on Instagram: “For my friends and family 🤍 wanted the first shows back to be special & to play this album for you live in the places we recorded it. I’ve never played an album top to bottom before but it’s already one of my favourite shows i’ve ever rehearsed.
I love you guys, the band and I can’t wait to see you!”

How To Get Tickets To Shawn Mendes
Fans must register for access to the Friends and Family Fan Onsale through Seated. You must sign up sometime between now and Sunday, August 4th at 11:59pm local time.
All who’ve registered will be notified of the results via email and text message by Monday, August 5th at 2pm PT. Thirty minutes before tickets go on sale on Tuesday, August 6th at 10am local PT those who’ve been selected will receive a unique, one-time-use code that will allow them to buy up to four tickets.
However, demand is expected to be high, and receiving a code doesn’t guarantee you a chance to buy tickets. They’ll also be non-transferable so if you miss out the only way to potentially get tickets is through a waitlist (those who do not receive a code will be automatically added).
