UPDATE: It’s confirmed! Pulp and LCD Soundsystem will perform at the Hollywood Bowl – Get the presale code
If you follow Live Nation LA on Instagram, you know the event juggernaut loves to drop clever hints before they reveal a significant show announcement. Today, in collaboration with the Hollywood Bowl, they shared an Instagram post that had fans buzzing about an upcoming LCD Soundsystem and Pulp show at the Hollywood Bowl. Is it really happening? Well, while we might be losing our edge to common people, however, we sure think it’s a go.

A post published this afternoon featured a photo of the iconic Hollywood Bowl marquee, displaying the message “You Are Here,” along with DFA’s, the label co-founded by LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy, Bowie-esque lightning bolt and Pulp’s Big Mouth merch graphic.
And if that wasn’t enough confirmation, when LCD had their 2024 Los Angeles residency, they had a website created for LA with the URL https://www.youareherela.com. Not to mention, the band is notorious for teasing the “You Are Here” hint with venues and promoters ahead of a show announcement (London 2022 and NYC 2021).
So yeah, it’s happening.
Since it’s a Live Nation show, and they own Ticketmaster, tickets will more than likely be sold through LCD’s and Pulp’s Ticketmaster pages.
LCD Soundsystem last performed at the Hollywood Bowl in May 2018, and let me tell you, it was a vibe. The show was co-headlined by Grimy Goods favorites, Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
