New York, it’s your turn to finally experience the Gorillaz’s House of Kong. The immersive exhibition will pop off for one month at the Agger Fish Building in Brooklyn from September 1 to September 28, 7 days a week from 10 am to 10 pm, offering about an hour-long ride down memory lane. Tickets are priced from $50.
I attended House of Kong twice in Los Angeles, once with my husband and once with my 8-year-old daughter; both times were unforgettable experiences. With my husband, I got to relish in the good ole Demon Days. With my child, I got to see the Gorillaz through a whole new set of eyes, and with so much pride.

House of Kong is a must for any longtime or new Gorillaz fan. I’ve been a fan of Gorillaz since I first heard “Clint Eastwood” blasting out of my 5-disc CD player that also had a cassette deck and radio. My mom got it for me at Costco before I left for college, but that thing was the bomb at every party me and my girls hosted at our shared apartment. “Clind Eastwood” is a song of a generation, no doubt. I mean, the lore behind the song is enough to blow your mind.

And lore you will dive into hard at House of Kong. It will legit take you back in time, down to the smells of your youth! House of Kong is a feast for the senses.
Also, if you have kids who are now obsessed with Gorillaz like mine (she don’t mess around when it comes to Gorillaz), this is truly such a fun experience to share with your children, whether teens or little ones. Just be aware, if they’re afraid of the dark, this might not be for them.
Watch my Los Angeles recap (with no Spoilers) for an idea of what to expect. The merch is too good, btw! You’re gonna wanna shop.
Gorillaz are currently on tour; catch them at a show near you.
