Back to Basics at The Observatory in Santa Ana came in hot with an A-list of underground hip hop performances! Dominating the stage at day one of Back To Basics were People Under The Stairs, Brother Ali and Murs (Mursday). It was a great display of what hip hop was and should be all about. Also on the bill were Talib Kweli, Blackalicious, Tha Liks, Kool Keith, Planet Asia, Dag Savage (Exile & Johaz), Oh No & Roc C, Mayday! and more!
