On Wednesday, we announced that rising 20-year-old pop star Halsey would be headlining the Fonda Theatre on Wednesday, November 18. That show had such a high demand (and sold out in seconds) that Goldenvoice has decided to add a second show at the Fonda, scheduled for Thursday, November 19.
Halsey will release her debut full-length album BADLANDS on August 28 via Astralwerks. The single “New Americana” has been getting heavy radio airplay on both KROQ and ALT98.7 as of late and she’s positioned herself to blow up big as 2015 hits the stretch run.
We caught Halsey at Hangout Fest in Gulf Shores, Alabama back in May and definitely recommend catching her at one of her two dates at the Fonda. She’s a dynamic performer that really knows how to connect with her audience – she’s got Lana del Rey talent but with an actual stage presence.
Tickets will be priced at $20 and are on sale NOW. The show is all ages with doors opening at 8 p.m.
