Top 10 Albums of 2008

Lots of crap and some good came out in 2008. It was a close race between the Jonas Brothers and The Black Keys for the top spot, but for some reason I just had to lean toward The Keys.

With no further adieu, Grimygoods’ Top 10:

1. Attack and Release – The Black Keys
2. Youth Novels – Lykee Li
3. Midnight Boom – The Kills
4. Loyalty to Loyalty – Cold War Kids
5. Santogold – Santogold
6. Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson – Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson
7. For Emma, Forever Ago – Bon Iver
8. Modern Guilt – Beck
9. Med Sud I Eyrum Vid Spilum Endalaust – Sigur Ros
10. Dear Science, – TV on the Radio

Albums that really chapped my hide:

1. Only By The Night – Kings of Leon
2. Tha Carter III – Lil’ Wayne

  1. Dave D.

Great top 10. Way better than most of those big name mags and stuff. I couldn’t agree more with you on The Kings of Leon album. Theycare the biggest sell outs. Never let money change the kind of music you put out. I now am not a fan.
