I saw this event invite a few days ago on Facebook via my friend Jason’s page but I wasn’t sure if it was legit since tickets sales hadn’t been announced anywhere. But sure enough, after checking the L.A. Phil, the news is in fact real. Local Natives will be playing the Walt Disney Concert Hall on Saturday, February 26, 2011. Wow, this is big news for our local favorites the Local Natives. The boys were on our Best Debut Albums of 2009 list and it’s been amazing to watch them grow immensely in 2010. From playing small $5 shows at the Echo or just seeing the boys around at a house party, now the Local Natives are playing the Walt Disney Concert Hall … Holy shit! Nice work guys.
