Echo Park’s, the Dead Ships just headlined the Roxy last week and played a new song titled “Golden Room” live. It’s a fast and wild punk number sure to knock your boots off! Today, the Dead Ships have shared their new single. “Golden Room” will make you want to pogo around and shake that head furiously. The riffs are tight and those drums have a furious roar. This song definitely has some sort of feral energy to it. Check it out below!
“Golden Room,” is the Dead Ships first new piece of music since the release of their excellent 2012 debut LP, Electric Ahab. Last night, the band debuted the “Golden Room” live on AXS TV! You can watch the live recording below. “Golden Room” will appear on a 7” that the band is splitting with Wake Up Lucid, and is part of a series of splits that Near Mess Records is releasing this summer.
The Dead Ships perform this Sunday at Echo Park Rising. They hit the Echo stage at 8:50pm!
